The client wished to obtain Planning Consent for a new two storey dwelling within the grounds of their existing property. The site was the location of a former tennis court with sloping landscaped banks to the rear and stunning views to the Clyde estuary at the front. The main living accommodation is at the first floor in order to take full advantage of the views. The large external balcony provides a link to the garden.

The client was keen to ensure an environmentally conscious proposal that blended into its surroundings and didnt impact neighbours as well as providing a low carbon footprint through the use of locally sourced materials, sedum roofing, rainwater harvesting and triple glazing.
